Ernesto Valverde is thrilled with his side’s performance after another goal party at the Camp Nou. Barcelona took advantage to stretch their lead against Real Madrid following their 6-1 thrashing of Eibar in La Liga’s midweek game.

The starting line-up had fans scratching their heads in confusion after Luis Suarez was benched; however, it worked out for Los Cules, as they bagged another win. This is Barcelona’s fifth consecutive La Liga victory and it was an entertaining 90 minutes, to say the least.

Lionel Messi claimed a super hat-trick, netting four outstanding goals. The Argentine ace has proved once again he is not human after an extraordinary performance. From incredible dribbles, and runs to creative and jaw-dropping passes, Messi put on an exhibition for his fans.

Paulinho and Denis Suarez also got their names on the scoreboard. The Brazilian snatched his second goal in his second match, while Suarez demonstrated he belongs on the pitch following an assist and a picture-perfect goal.

The home side gave a spectacular team-effort to claim three golden points in the Primera Division. Their next match will be against Girona on September 23rd.
